lueVelvet @lueVelvet was recently posting about his pepper garden. Remember, recently he almost got washed out to the Bahamas by a hurricane and Trump would have suspected he was a drug dealer before he could get back home. Despite this, when he got done drying out and fighting off the alligators, he sent me a box.

Today the mail arrived:

What do?

A variety of fresh Florida peppers! AWESOME.

But wait...there's MORE!

I've only had the hot sauce so far and it's good! Lots of vinegar tang, and indeed it's sweet on the front and fiery on the back.

I'll get to cooking something with the peppers asap. I've never had most of these!

Thanks again lueVelvet @lueVelvet
I'm all for any recommendations on recipes to use the different peppers in.

Nice
I grow like 20 large pepper plants each year for 20 years or so and I have only grown Shinshito myself...and actually only Padron(it's very close cousin)

Padron is the spain version of the Shinshito, very similar plants only distinguished by their tip...about 1 in 10 true shinshito's will be hot...very tasty

can't wait for a review on those other 4 varieties

I don't grow many peppers as high up the spicy scale as lueVelvet @lueVelvet does...We grow tons of anahiems, jalapeños, mole, poblano, etc...

Good score! I'm a sissy bed wetter when it comes to spicy. Ketchup is my threshold!

I bet you can grow some amazing stuff in Florida as a backyard gardener.

Has me thinking about what I would do in that climate...possibilities are endless

Thanks Splinty @Splinty. I’m just happy to share the love of what we grow around to some cool cats who appreciate it. Just be careful. Those ratings are honest and the XXX are killers! You can use them to make your own hot sauce with some online recipes as a starting point. :)

I’ll have to start a thread when I’m back in town. Been away all week for work and don’t have many pics etc to get into enough detail.
