I made a $140 mistake with the Subaru this week. My running lights weren’t working. I changed the fuse, I replaced the bulbs. Still no go. I took it to the mechanic figuring it was an electrical problem. The mechanic calls me the 4 hours later. I had put single filament bulbs instead of double filament. 6 dollar bulbs, but I had to pay $140 for the hour service.

If a lamp goes out in your house is your first move to buy a new breaker?

Two bulbs burning out at the same time? I figured fuse.
When I had my Tacoma one of my rear indicators burnt out. When one goes I usually replace both, I picked up a pair of LEDs. My tail lights/signals got all fucked up and would work sometimes but blink twice as fast then other times not at all. According to mechanic friend who helped me out the draw on the bulbs was so small that the truck wouldn't recognize them. He put the same old style bulbs back in and everything went back normal. I hate those little annoying issues.

Don't worry, the mechanics are used to Subaru owners not being able to change a bulb.

Are you a member of the Street Beefs Facebook Group?
You know I said I was in that group because I was saying I could get the fight arranged in ten mins right? Otherwise ppl likely have no idea how to do it. Was showing I wasn't talking out my ass. I don't get the joke

A guy at work has a 2005 from Japan. He picked it up all in for 7500 CAD.

He bought it from here.

2001 SUBARU – Forester( – BG494133 – JDM Connection

He has me seriously considering buying a nissan or subie right side drive.
I almost did the same. So much cheaper to go the JDM route for low kms and condition of car. If you don't mind driving RHD and having a tricky to resell the car would be great. There's a few brokers in BC and AL that'll have the car delivered right to your house. I was looking to get a VW R32.
