Lol! Exactly what my wife would say.
I'll see if I can track some down this weekend. Would you suggest it on pasta'd and pizzas?
Yes! Definitely pizza, especially with prosciutto.
I want to make burrata mac and cheese, but I keep eating it all before I can do that. I usually just eat it with olive oil, a nice balsamic, and some basil. I love tossing plain pasta with ricotta, too.

it's also known as buffalo mozzarella if I remember correctly.

It's amazing on pizza.

I rarely, if ever, see buffalo mozz. I think I’m in desperate need of opening my own cheese emporium.
It's rare. Italian grocery stores will usually carry it, there's one major grocery chain here that carries a store brand of it. When I see it at the grocery store I usually buy out the shelf. Interestingly my lactose intolerant wife can eat the buffalo cheese without any issues.

I'd be lying if I told you I could pick them out in a police lineup, but they do taste different.
Looked up an article and it seem's the eye test is burrata is more well formed since it's made in a pouch, but ya damn near impossible without a taste.

Adding cheese curd's to fresh mozzarella.....my lord I've been missing out, gonna grab some for my winter hibernation.

Yeah, the Italian market is... wait. They opened a new one close by... guess I’ll have to make a pit stop after work tomorrow.
I am lactose intolerant, but really only suffer when I have actual milk or ice cream. I think that I’d eat cheese anyway.

I just grab the BelGioioso burrata at Publix. Not as good as fresh, but actually pretty fucking good.
