No visit to the Dr yet but according to the internet I may have "trigger finger" in my middle and ring fingers on left hand. Can't recall what set it off but I assume I got my fingers caught up in a gi at the last tourney. The two fingers have pressure in the middle joint and won't fully close. I wouldn't describe it as painful but if I force the movement it gets shitty.

This has to be pretty common with BJJ right? Ice, ibuprofen, massage and time? Dr visits are free but I'm a busy man so hoping one of you can just talk me through it so I can get back into beast mode.

First try pulling the fingers out your ass. If that doesn't work, put them back in and repeat.

Holy crap ... just realized I have this exact feeling too. Scary that it actually has a name? Trigger finger? WTF. And no idea what caused it.

Other than not having trained for like a decade and jumping back in, only to realize my fingers and a gi don't mix like they used to.

I also fucked up my neck so I'm taking a week off, so hopefully all this shit goes away.

Lol I have that in all my fingers.

Currently dealing with both broken thumbs, degenerating disks in my neck, and severe compression in my L4-S1 basically they're all touching. I'm sure I have some herniated disks but I'm too claustrophobic to get into an MRI. Tape is your friend now! And No-Gi.
