Greg Hardy’s win over Ben Sosoli at UFC Boston on Friday was overturned to a No Contest. The decision came from Hardy’s inhaler use in between the second and third rounds, which UFC VP Marc Ratner deemed as “completely illegal.”

“The Prince of War” argued that he was allowed by the commission to use the said medical device. But for UFC president Dana White, Hardy’s cornermen should have known better.

“First of all, Din Thomas. Come on, Din. You’ve been in this game forever,” White told reporters during a post-fight scrum. “His corner, they gotta know you can’t use an inhaler in the corner.…

I find it entertaining
The sport is rife with cheating and it is UFC endorsed for some fighters

Greg certainly met his match yesterday...lot of learning to do to be able to finish a top HW...barely did anything after he hit his magic inhaler and he just wanted to finish the 3rd, didn't care about fighting anymore...Hardy didn't enjoy the deep water and a few HWs can go into the deep water every fight

Dana is such a dipshit...nobody to blame but himself...he brought the kid in

Why isn't the commission at fault here when they clearly said he could use it?

According to Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole, an inspector initially approved the inhaler use when Hardy and his team asked. That inspector, however, didn’t have the authority to do so — which is why the fight was ruled a no-contest instead of a disqualification.

Change the fights to 2 10-minute rounds to give a better chance to grapplers and to force more draws (so many fights every card where nobody should be declared the winner or the loser) AND make the break 3 minutes but also give each fighter a tank of 100% oxygen and let them panic-breathe it all they want.

Roids I'd draw the line at because it's not fair to guys who don't want to fuck with their body's ability to make its own hormones. But for anything else, why not?

He has just signed to fight Volkov in Moscow .........fingers crosses volkov batters him for 3 rounds
Wow, what a horrible matchup for Hardy. I’m shocked the UFC would set him up for failure. Maybe they think the main event exposure is worth the loss.

Win win for Hardy here. Will be a massive underdog so as long as he can make it out of the first round (Volkov isn't an early finisher. Five UFC bouts with two decisions and three others ending in the third/fourth). Greg gets main event experience and exposure and Volkov gets an easy fight at home. God I hope Volkov has the karma gods on his side to help bust up Hardy.
