Stann nailed the timing of his commentary there:

"Maia has a 30% success rate on his takedowns while Condit only has a 40% defence rate" and boom, straight away takedown.

It was always a terrible matchup for Condit.

Condit is always easy to takedown. No TD defense.

Maia is like 80% successful with takedowns against the cage.
Didn't need it here. Easy work.

Final puzzle piece. Condit feeling like he might have no business fighting anymore and explaining how heavy Demian's strikes are. You can see how he loops his arm around at about 1:18 of the OP vid and uses Condit's own momentum from stiff arming to generate a strong right hook from top half. Condit says it rocked him.
