This is how any opposing team should watch a haka

France.
2007
In your face. We don't give af.
All players wore the 3 french colours. Arm in arm.

Chabal aka French caveman smirked at the kiwis all throughout. In hindsight I wonder if he intimidated some of the kiwis.
He played an awesome game and iirc broke a kiwis rib with a hard tackle.

I started watching rugby in the 90s thanks to my kiwi roommate.
Saw lomu play.
He was a beast.
Correct me if I'm wrong but he was the prototype of the new type of players coming up : big, fast and powerful aka 'bodybuilt up' as per some euro sports mag I read once.
Those players are now part of every team.
You’re 100% correct.
Prior to Lomu, we had small fast wings - John Kirwan etc.
Then Lomu happened, via Rugby 7s from memory. Shit changed, now we have monsters that are fast as hell.
Fullback is still relatively small in stature.

Lets see how the brits ugly rugby fares, NZ should hammer them as well.

(Also, it's England. Brits refers to citizens of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the British Overseas Territories, and the Crown dependencies.)

Hahah, shows what I know, good performance from the English.

I know the "union" is Britian, but the English are the only brits in my opinion.

Speaking of the Haka does anyone remember when Brian O Driscoll disrespected the Kiwis by lauging at them, turning his back half way through.

Went well for him

In his prime he was good.

He was a talisman more than anything else, played top flight way past his time and would have about 10 unforced errors a game towards the end of his career.
Yep
A friend of mine, french and former rugby player told me roughly the same thing. They sort of kept him for the spirit he brought to the team but made errors.

Yeah, he had a few good seasons but he wasn't anywhere near international level towards the end of his career, he was only on the roster for the reasons you stated.

No excuse for this though...

Guys I know very little about rugby and only pay attention to the World Cup every four years, but England is gonna destroy South Africa.

And you can take that to the bank.

They should run them down, but it depends on their mentality......it's easy to let the press make you feel invincible, particularly after beating up the new zealish

Yeah
It's as if the kiwis are the gold standard.
If you beat them then you're practically world champion.
It's similar to beating Canada in ice hockey.

One of my English mates out here in Belgium used to play rugby. He's a fucking psychopath. Literally every weekend since I've been here he beats on the Belgians for offending him when he's drunk / fucked off his head.

He's like Galt but English. Disciplined Galt @Galt he got bottled 3 times and the bottle never broke

I didn't even know South Africa was a real country until the movie District 9.

England will coast.

For the record that movie was watched in the smallest cinema I ever visited. Maybe 15 seats or so

If they get the main character guy who turned into a prawn they'll be tough. He knows and understands human weaknesses.

I imagine before stadium seating movie theaters must have been hell for you. All it takes is one person 5'8" or taller to sit in front of you and you're basically blacked out of the entire film.
