Disciplined Galt @Galt

This is your wheelhouse. I, against better judgement booked and paid for a 12 day trip to Chiang Mail via a 6 hour lay over in Seoul. This November.

I intend kayaking, zip lining, snuggling up in the mud with elephants, a day of boxing, tattoos and a blessing.

Giz some stories!

Completely different climates. Seoul will be cold at that time while Thailand will be coming into the better part of the dry season. In 6 hours, it is unlikely you'll have anything to do outside the airport. It's almost an hour to Seoul each way from Incheon. 1.5-2 hours and you still have to go back through security. That's MAYBE an hour or two in Seoul if you don't want to gamble your connection. And you'll need clothes you will never wear on this trip to Thailand.

Chiang Mai is chill mode and if you're already in the north you might as well go to Chiang Rai as well.

I highly recommend you get drunk, get a few buddhist statues to use as decorations, and some Thai tattoos you can't read. Those will help set you apart from the other farangs camping out there.

What airline? Korean Air?

Lol, you prick <3

I travel mainly for food. Chiang Mai is supposedly the best for that as well as all of the ATV and aforementioned activities right?

Bangkok is one of the top if not the top city in the world for food. I like northern cuisine as well though.

Look for SitThaharnaek Gym in Chiang Mai and spend the whole trip training Muay Thai not doing anything else.

Losing your temper rarely gets you anywhere in Thailand.
I can imagine. I'm a mouthy cow sometimes but I'll be so far out of my comfort zone I'll keep it shut. The elephant company was a recommendation so hopefully they'll be cool.

Chiang Mai is worth a trip but tbh only if you also see More of te north. If being active Is your Thing then I definitely recommend going caving in Tam Lod.

Five years ago I spent a whole day caving in a group of 4 with a guide and it cost me $20

I have quite a few activities booked, might add kayaking to that but I think I Might end up getting claustrophobic caving...considering it though

By "a day of boxing" I hope you mean watching Muay Thai fights, and not getting roped in to doing one....

Oh, and what the good Doctor said.

Doing this on Saturday night.
$50 for 4 hours of fights including all drinks with pick up and drop off at the hotel. This country is so damned cheap.
