CNN:

"The new US position was swiftly repudiated by the European Union, with diplomats noting President Donald Trump's desire to woo evangelical voters and privately saying the move reflects a US willingness to "give the finger" to international law.

Lemme get this straight.
CNN, is reporting, that the EU is repudiating U.S. "opinion" in regard to international law, establishing their own opinion as correct, and stating that undisclosed diplomats privately told CNN the White House is giving international law the finger?

"Pompeo tried to suggest"....no, he affirmed, period.

CNN is pure vomit.

All CNN staff should book a visit to Palestinian territories and Israeli territories.
All they are allowed is customs intelligence and passports.
Let's see what happens.

The Palestinian public was supportive of Arafat's role in the negotiations. After the summit, Arafat's approval rating increased seven percentage points from 39 to 46%.[47] Overall, 68% of the Palestinian public thought Arafat's positions on a final agreement at Camp David were just right and 14% thought Arafat compromised too much while only 6% thought Arafat had not compromised enough.[47]

Barak did not fare as well in public opinion polls. Only 25% of the Israeli public thought his positions on Camp David were just right as opposed to 58% of the public that thought Barak compromised too much.[48] A majority of Israelis were opposed to Barak's position on every issue discussed at Camp David except for security.[49]

I wonder where the two groups have gone now.

In every way, Arafat got everything he wanted except the right of return of Palestinians into Israel...and then chickened out that the deal meant a deal...done...no more claims. And yet the public felt he was right.

Israelis thought too much was compromised even though the deal fell apart. I would imagine Israelis are more jaded and unwilling to offer such concessions at this point.

I can't find newer polls was this trend hints:

I struggle to find sympathy for people who overwhelmingly vote for terrorist organisations. I know that sounds callous but Israel has at least pretended to offer peace. If Palestine did the same, international pressure would be too much for Israel and they'd have to concede land.

As it stands, Israel ended occupation in 2005 and what happened? Palestine continued to fire rockets at them.

I'm not pro Israel by any stretch. Their government has committed horrible atrocities and acts of terrorism but the actions of Palestine give them wiggle room to argue.

Palestinians do not seem to have a defined end state that is based on land, borders, and sovereignty. They want to be repatriated into Israel to the tune of 5 million people and growing... ( Palestinian right of return - Wikipedia )
Given Israel's entire population is only about 8 million, this is entirely undoable.
Palestinians don't want a two state solution. By history, they want a hybrid of the two state and one state solution. A Palestinian controlled area and representation in Israel. This will never be done due to Israeli sovereignty issues after borders are agreed.
The Palestinians should have taken the camp David peace accords under Clinton and demanded a bucket of cash for historically lost property. They will never get a right to return in a two state solution and I can't imagine a peaceful one state solution in our lifetime.
Should have taken the two state option and cash, then you can thaw relations and work towards visa and security to allow increased freedom of movement once actual expectations are defined. You can't fire rockets one day and have 5 million of your people given a no border option of the new border you just created for peace.

I’m not a massively hard man.

I’m 6’4” and about 100kg. On a good day. And not in Joshua shape either.

I certainly wouldn’t instigate a fight. But fuck me. I really wish I was on this tube carriage.

Once this cunt tells me to back off because he might bust my nose I would go all in. I obviously wouldn’t know about the recording but I would have witnesses. I would use optimal strength to put this fool down quickly.and I will be honest. I would us optimal action till I was sure he wasn’t a threat.

There is a kid there ffs.

I don’t know why this annoyed me so much.

I think it’s because I’m a dad and his kid is so uncomfortable.
