You have to understand I was born on saltspring island.

It's all love here brother.

I'm not really into arguing just want to hear both sides and gain some knowledge.

Knowledge Rains Supreme- Over Nearly Everyone

And let me leave you with my favorite KRS-ONE track while I leave for picket duty.

You destroyed GM!
I didn't even work for an auto manufacturer. They were the union for the gorcery store chain I worked for. We were the highest grosssing store in the company. It was done through giving employees 40 hours a week, but paying them "part time" wages instead of "full time". We asked for there to be more full time positions created. The company's offer was to not offer anymore, and to keep everything status quo.

Buzz Hargrove told us to come out with a strong strike mandate, which we did. Truth is, most of the employees were high school part time workers and would have made more in strike pay than we did working. CAW however knew that it would cost them a fuckton of money if we went on strike, they then "strongly advised" that we accept the dog shit offer otherwise they might close the store and fire us all. Which is obviously complete horseshit, but they decided to host the vote in the middle of the day when the only staff who were able to vote were the ones who the union and the company had bullied into thinking they had no choice but to sign. It was one of the greasiest things I've ever seen.

Jerry Dias' behaviour over the past year comes as absolutely no surprise at all to me.

How about that @Lars ?

Canada’s national unemployment rate was 5.5 per cent in October. Here are the jobless rates last month by province (numbers from the previous month in brackets):

— Newfoundland and Labrador 11.1 per cent (11.5)

— Prince Edward Island 8.4 (8.8)

— Nova Scotia 8.0 (7.2)

— New Brunswick 8.1 (8.3)

— Quebec 5.0 (4.8)

— Ontario 5.3 (5.3)

— Manitoba 5.3 (5.0)

— Saskatchewan 5.1 (5.3)

— Alberta 6.7 (6.6)

British Columbia 4.7 (4.8)

Still the best economy in Canada with the lowest unemployment rates in the country.

@Lars Ya fuck the BC govt and not the greedy corporations for trying to claw back worker rights and benefits

WFP is seeking to replace the current pension plan with a Registered Savings Plan, an act which will impose the burden of funding pensions onto individual workers and clear the way for the company to end employer contributions for existing employees and new hires.

If the export of the countries most valuable natural resource is being bloacked by a provincial government that would be pretty straightforward.
Wait are you really trying to say BC govt meddling in natural resources is contributing to a GLOBAL recession?

Not even practicing your shadow boxing at the gym to look cool?
Oh if those count then yeah, I've been the undisputed world champion in many gyms over Vancouver island. The tricep pull down cables with the balls on the end. I've knocked those things out so many times.

Yukon's rate still hovering around 3%?
Cute. The territory of 35 thousand people, all based out of work camps.

I guess you got me. BC has the second lowest unemployment rates in Canada. Still kickin' ass by a couple percent over any other province.
