Well at least we both recognize it is consistent. BC is consistently leading the provincial pack to prosperity. Month after month. And yet we heard how an NDP govt was going to run BC into the ground. Here we are over 2 and a half years later and chicken little is still crying the sky is falling.
and there you are directly equating unemployment rates with prosperity You also apparently don't understand how cause and effect works in regards to government policies, but I shouldn't be surprised.

And there you go ignoring all provinces are being measured by the same standards, regardless of if you agree with them or not.

Can you please post where I said that provincial unemployment rates are measured by different standards?

But we will pay less taxes.....math
JT: We've got no money to get drinking water in reserves.

Also JT: We're going to buy half a billion dollars worth of guns from people who haven't committed any crimes with them.

The Canadian economy posted its biggest monthly job loss since the financial crisis as the unemployment rate also pushed higher in November, Statistics Canada reported Friday.

The economy lost 71,200 jobs last month and the unemployment rate rose to 5.9 per compared with 5.5 per cent in October, the data agency said.

Economists on average had expected a gain of 10,000 jobs and the unemployment rate to hold steady at 5.5 per cent, according to financial markets data firm Refinitiv.

The number of full-time jobs fell by 38,400, while part-time employment fell by 32,800.

The goods-producing sector lost 26,600 jobs in the month as the number of manufacturing jobs fell by 27,500 and the natural resources sector shed 6,500. Meanwhile, the services sector lost 44,400 jobs as the number in public administration fell by 24,900 in November.

i wonder what the liberals are considering military style guns ? they probably call a ruger 10/22 military style . almost all gun crime in canada is done with illegal handguns from the US
I'm guessing any semi auto rifle with a detachable magazine. Probably the SKS by name. They're going back 30 years to justify a ban on a gun that wasn't used in the crime. It's honestly incredible that people could be this stupid.

Restricteds are registered, so the RCMP will know who has them, but yeah the majority of them are going to end up buried, or sold to gangbangers.

It's ultimately going to depend on what they want the penalty for non-compliance is and what the buyback prices are. You'd think they'd take the hint from New Zealand, but here we are.

They estimate 175k guns in the country, 32K have been turned in. As of the end of this year, the amnesty expires and you're just a flat out criminal who's address they technically have. A couple weeks ago they announced it will be a permanent amnesty.

It turns out offering someone pennies on the dollar for something doesn't yield a lot of response.

In the case of the SKS in Canada, there are at least a couple hundred thousand of them in the country, and they aren't registered. So aside from knowing who has firearms licenses, and that any license holder may own one, they have no way of knowing where they actually are. They go for about 200 bucks "new". It's kind of hard to imagine it being worthwhile for someone to turn one in for 50 bucks when the RCMP has no idea where any of them are.
