Go to the Huber Zip or GP ForceField. Fuck all that housewrap.
And pay for it? Lol got all materials and lumber free from leftovers on projects I've been doing for the builder I contract to.

I've heard great things about the ZIP system

Can't beat free!

But yeah. I love the zip system. So much easier and cleaner.

During the fights tonight, I cleaned up a clogged toilet in our upstairs bathroom that completely flooded the bathroom and hallway and leaked downstairs. That fucking sucked.

In the middle of about a 3 week project that sucks major ass. Ripping up 4 bedrooms of carpet, and about 1000 sq/ft of old hardwood, and laying new hardwood. Also replacing tile and vanity tops in two baths. House is fucking chaos right now. Will post pics when done.

Living in a construction project is No Joy. At least it's not the Master Bedroom, and it's only 3 weeks.

my neighbors did a major remodel that was supposed to last 6 weeks, ended up going almost 4 months.

The Master BR will be getting hardwood as well, so that will suck for about 2-3 days. Be so glad when this shit is done. Already told my wife that there will be absolutely no projects next year.

bolted headers and a K-member on to an engine, just doing a mock-up for a test fit before engine bay is painted.

some guy walked by with his little girl while my 6 yo daughter was helping me hold up the header. He waved, but I know his balls shrank seeing my manliness.

How did you manage to break a spring?
they just break. I had one pop in the middle of the night. Scared the shit out of the wife, I just cursed because I knew I was going to have to open the garage door for her when I left.

Wife was bitching (again) because the pool pump was not pumping. Pump shit the bed while she was vacuuming it. Had to install a new pump and dig out the suction line because the leaves she was vacuuming clogged the suction line when the pump quit. I am not safer at home.

It's pool maintenance season!

had to replace the pump last year. Got a new pool company because my pool guy moved to Utah, and every week something more expensive broke. When the pump broke ($1900 quote), they got fired and I bought an inductive one from the local pool shop. It was sitting on the back shelf for $280 and I put it in myself. One thing I learned is that variable speed is a waste of money, 2-speed is where it's at.

This week, I installed a salt chlorinator. I didn't have room to install the cell, so I had to move the sand filter back. The internet said that the sand filter would weigh ~ 400lbs. The internet is full of shit. I've moved plenty of 400lb engines, and that thing weighed 600lbs if it weighed six ounces. But I put down a new pad and got it moved back, then built a unistrut addition to the pool equipment electrical box and mounted the Power Cell.

Dad gave the install 2 thumbs up, so the city code inspector can fuck off.
