I probably have it once a week, staple northeastern food. Tends to give you parasites though, that’s why I drink.

Ah, big differences within Thailand between the regional cuisines. Southern Thailand is mostly acclaimed for seafood and coconut based curries.
Awesome, most southern Thais are Malay Muslims. You got to get that recipe, by any means necessary.@Daeng - his barbecue spare ribs are the best thing he makes...and I'm a bit of a connoisseur of barbecue.
but I married in to the family and he still won't give me the recipe. Says he'll pass it on to one of my kids if they get in to cooking.
i videotaped him making it last time, and had my SIL track the ingredients.
I have a recipe, but it's 35 ingredients. Some of them he has to bring back when goes to Thailand every year.

I make a quick and dirty Thai Curry with this stuff right here.For quick and easy, use this.
A can of coconut milk. Simmered down. A couple of tablespoons of the curry paste above. A bunch of Thai chillies, some lime leaves, some canned bamboo shoots, and add some stewing beef or chicken in there. Serve it over rice and you’re barking with the big dogs.
Also. Years ago on Taco Bell a guy was married to a Thai girl. She put together a bunch of recipes that she wanted to sell as a cookbook. She gave up on the dream and he shared it as a big PDF file with her permission. I have it somewhere. I’ll try to find it.

Many scholars say it is the most authentic Thai food in the world, even more so than Thailand Thai food. Apparently Canadian cuisine was a huge inspiration for Thai food and most Thai food is just a rip off of Canadian classics.
