29-28 Aldo clearly
Yeah, very close compared to the commentary. I could see the 1st going either way really. Moraes landed the best shot of the round but Aldo may have landed and controlled a a bit more and could have taken it.
Marlon adjusted well,didn't get dragged into a brawl in the 3rd, picked Jose apart coming forward, great footwork.
I think he was suprised himself when Jose was still in front of him in the 2nd.

I got the 50 inch going man, but you're right, I had Moraes though, he sussed Aldo out by the 3rd.

I had it for Aldo but this was not a robbery.
This Vegas crowd is awful to keep booing like that. It's one thing to boo the decision when it's announced if you disagree, but Moraes made a clear case for his win, the fight itself was great, and he's being respectful, why boo the man in the interview?

2nd was clearly Aldo, 3rd was clearly Moraes. 1st round was tight. Can't be too mad at the decision. Would have liked to have seen Aldo do a bit more in the third to try to put the fight away and finish it. He seems to often cruise a bit at the end of fights and it bit him in the ass tonight.
Good fight, Aldo proved the doubters wrong either way, he made the cut handily enough and took some hard shots, went all 3 rounds, close enough fight with the number 1 contender in the division.
