Well yeah, but you said his "one and only big fight". Obviously Usman wasn't what brought eyes to the Colby bout, Colby did. So I don't see how any of those potential match ups are any different. He's the B side draw wise but would still be in a huge fight and get paid for it, just like the Colby fight.
Also, let's not act like UFC cares about rankings at all. They would make Conor vs Usman immediately if Conor got 2 wins at 170 and wanted it... they'd also do this as well as Jorge vs Usman. And I'm pretty sure Jorge is the #1 ranked WW after Colby's loss this weekend. So, that one makes perfect sense.
