I can’t explain the change that came over me when my son was born. It was as if everything I had accomplished to that point was meaningless. From that second onward, that screaming, sleep stealing, puking, excrementing, defenceless pile of skin and bones, health and happiness would be the only thing that would ever matter to me.

Shit will suck. Things will go badly, but you won’t fucking care. Your spawn, will now and forever, be more important than anything else in your life could ever be.
