Merry Christmas Nate fans...

Last October, the biggest topic facing the MMA world was the news that UFC star Nate Diaz had tested positive for a selective androgen receptor module (a SARM), LGD-4033, a substance banned by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). Nonetheless, Diaz was eventually cleared to compete at UFC 244.

The supplement that caused the positive was not initially revealed, and both Diaz and UFC President of Performance Jeff Novitzky would only go so far as to say it was an organic, vegan, multivitamin. Now four months later, Diaz may find himself once again embroiled in controversy with USADA.........

The TLDR for the lazy.

+ Nate tested positive for LGD-4033 (Ligandrol)

+ Nick and Nate claim to be owners of Game Up Nutrition

+ Game Up Nutrition have a supplement (a vegan, organic, vitamin) flagged by USADA for containing LGD-4033

Nate tainted himself...

I always said the top guys could afford to, and probably have had a batch intentionally tainted with PEDs and then use that batch and if caught claim plausible deniability.

Not a good move if you are "owner" of the company though.

Tainted sups is such a huge loophole for fuckery IMO.

if they are only atypical and below threshold they dont have to.
atypical...meaning irregular
they described his first failed Tbol test "atypical" if I recall

so if he keeps failing below the threshold they won't(and probably aren't releasing them)

Do they even have to release the results at all anymore?
Aren't results only released if they decide to penalize / punishment nowadays?

Is Ligandrol effective? Is Ligandrol common among failed tests?

Doping and anti doping is pretty fun stuff...I always like your posts

not really. THeres about 20 entries on the USADA list of supplements found with lgd and 95% of those had lgd or ligandrol on the label,. its a fairly rare contaminant

Ostarine on the other hand is widespread.

The most likely thing is that the Diaz company sourced their vitamins from some shitty plant that handles all sorts of shitty supplements and doesnt clean their equipment.

Which rather puts pay to their claims of wanting to change the game using only plant based, vegan ingredients.

as if those two have anything to do with running a business or refining formula's.
Well no, but if your company is marketing things as organic, vegan, plant based, its probably best that they are.

Especially if it results in you testing positive from your own freaking product :D

Big story. There's so much shadiness with USADA it's basically a solar eclipse at this point.

Was he an actual founder? Or did they bring him in to act as the face of the brand?
