I'm just interested how you find your news.

Please add if I've missed one.

Me. I'm usually radio as it's so immediate.

But what is yours?

When we look at media like TV and Radio it all has been consolidated into the hands of a few in the past 15-20 years..those who own those stations have the ability to decide what people think - what is news.

As for Social Media like Reddit,Twitter,Instagram they too have an agenda and are censoring ideas they do not agree with again controlling the content and narrative of what is to be discussed.

I’ve found Internet Forums filled with Trolls, Shills, Sock Puppets and the misinformed a place I can somewhat still find a sense of truth as long as the forum isn’t being heavily moderated.

Internet for the most part.

Radio is my only other source. I like it but rarely able to listen.

you can consume all of the options via internet
So internet

I do read everything I get my mitts on, and listen to the old school AM/FM radio also.

Only one I never scope out is Facebook.

Google News radio in the AM while getting ready
Scroll Google News page at the lunch hour

Use those larger topics to look up things on aggregated websites like politico.
When something meets my fancy, I will jump to both NYT and WSJ for the first pass reading (found the post was not a good deal and mostly wordy fluff...except the headliners which are awesome, but the whole paper is too empty). Economist will catch the bigger stuff.
I supplement all of this with a terrible thing...social media via reddit and twitter. This is as likely to lead me to more truth as more fiction. But you catch social trends and nuance, and can feel where sound bytes are being built as well as lines being drawn.

That evening if I'm feeling particularly masochistic I will tune into some cable news to hear the now 12 hour old topic distilled down to whatever side the channel has chosen.

I put Good Morning America on TV when I get up, look to see anything newsy here, then go to (for my sins) Daily Mail. I probably don't have the greatest news sources.

I actually meant the guy in that pic, I wasn't asking who you were.
Bill Cooper, he was a short wave radio broadcaster.

In the 90’s Bill Clinton labeled him the most dangerous man in America, why? Because Bill talked truth.

9/11 Prediction months prior to 9/11:

Told his listeners never to listen to the bullshit artist Alex Jones:

Was wanted by Bill Clinton and the IRS for Tax Evasion refusing to pay taxes because he felt it was unconstitional - was set up by unmarked Apache County Deputies posing as drunk kids playing loud music one night shortly after 9/11 outside Coopers home.

Best know work:

it would be interesting to check how many of these sources are owned by the same big orgs. I would suspect you could whittle this lost down to like 1 or 2 and you’d basically be getting the same ‘news’.

Corbett Report FTW

Props to Bill Cooper

IMHO News is not 'news' anymore... its just a massive public thought-control operation. Some of what they cover indeed are facts and current events but the main objective is to keep us in a box of ignorance, protect the elites, get us arguing amongst ourselves, and influence our opinions as they want us to.

Very scary

Control and misuse of mainstream 'news' imo is possibly the biggest problem facing humanity today.
