Does anyone else here consider the possibility of a false flag worth considering?

Canadian news so far is all over the same flavor of rhetoric, emotional and patriotic gush pieces on the humanity and hope of Canadian victims (as if other nationalities are not worth grieving for lol)

To me it is so far stinking a lot like other false flags I've seen to sentiment the public into more or less accepting war.
We shall see, but I think right now its as likely a scenario than any others

punchers chance that the strike on soleamoni(sp) was stopping a coup by him and some others to take control of Iran
He was taken out with permission...and everything afterwards is just a show...and/or the plane either was an accidental shoot down or was full of a bunch of coup participants leaving the country shortly after Iran fired their missiles into empty bases.

Unverified reports of nearly 100 iranian "commanders" being arrested last 1-2 days.

Far as I know the Canadians on the plane were all Iranian. Probable some from around here; we have the lion's share of them.

That meme speaks to a larger problem, because several of those things are legitimate examples of proven false war mongering propaganda. Incubator babies was bullshit, Powell at the UN was bullshit, Assad and Gaddafi both had a lot of bullshit spread about them in among the legitimate cuntish things they did, Gulf of Tonkin was bullshit, and the USS Maine was also blamed on Spain without any real evidence. The latter example is directly applicable to this incident, and should be seen as a cautionary tale for why you shouldn't jump to conclusions.

But then of course we get the weird conspiracy nonsense mixed in about Pearl Harbor and the Lusitania (which very much was sunk by the Germans), wrecking the other credible points. The spread of conspiracy thinking hollows out the sensible middle ground and you end up with unquestioning morons on one side - who are either stupid initially or don't want to be associated with any skepticism of official narratives lest they be labeled a tinfoiler - and conspiracy retards on the other.

By that do you mean they were dual citizens?

If memory serves like 25 of then were from the Edmonton area, 10 from Ottawa not sure about the others.

great post but I think there are some legit issues and questions about Lusitania and Pearl Harbour being at least partially false flags as well.

we can get into them if you like.

false flags are more consistent than not when it comes to US instigating wars. Those paying attention should know Iran has been in the crosshairs now for decades and should be wary of any stories or coincidences that give them the opportunity to play public opinion and start yet another WAR FFS.

after such a string of lies I honestly don’t know how anyone can give them the benefit of the doubt anymore.

In fact I think it’s perfectly sensible to suspect false flags when coming from US, considering the pattern of history.

A) small group of people actually WANT war

B) general public opinion does not

C) general public are easily manipulated by emotional MSM propaganda, and have stupidly short memories

A + B + C = WAR

This has been the pattern pretty much without pause for decades now. 9/11 is not even on that meme, arguably the biggest FF of our era. Known liars. Considering this it would seem actually LESS plausible that somehow this time they are telling the truth. Why believe documented liars and war mongers with a clear agenda, who have openly WANTED war with Iran for so long but somehow we should ignore all that and chalk it up to mere perfect coincidence this one time?

Baffled why so few take this scenario more seriously, even though history would almost unanimously suggest it to be the case

How do you define a false flag?

They'll make them up if they have to.

And no, the executive power increased by Obama will not go away. They made that bed and are now complaining about it.
I agree that they were just 'going through the motions'...but at least they went through the motions.

The current State Dept just stood in front of the US Senate and said the POTUS could start a war and all the Congress can do is defund it.

How do you define a false flag?
?

I thought it was pretty straightforward.

set up or bait an event to happen that you can blame your enemy for, as an excuse to go attack that enemy without looking like the aggressor

The term literally comes from the concept of deceptively flying the enemy’s flag on a ship or whatever that did the event to make it look like they did it.

i'd say the arrests are about finding who to pin the airliner on...Soleimani turned down the opportunity to run for President a couple years ago, and he would have been a strong contender.

They really are shameless sometimes. How did that ever pass the public smell test?
That was maybe the best one imo

public emotion is so easily manipulated.

who would have the gall to call out such an innocent looking teenage girl, crying real tears, apparently horrified about stories of babies being ruthlessly thrown to the floor and killed? It pulls on every heartstring, generates all the rightful anger at whatever monsters would do such an inhumane act. Once the emotions have been triggered anyone who calls bullshit looks like a cold hearted bastard, risking shame from his own community.

that false flag worked like a fuckin charm, and shows how low the war makers will stoop to roll out their agendas.

how do you differentiate between a False Flag and mistakes, errors in judgment, or unintended consequences?

reminds me of the head of Japan's "Domestic Security Force" laughing when asked how he knew that China would be the aggressor in a potential conflict..."Oh, they'll attack us..."

Good question

the answers would lie in;

a) how much did the war mongerers know about the event beforehand?
b) did they do anything to stop it/‘allow’ it to happen?
c) how much planning was already prepared and drafted for attack before the event?
d) how perfectly did it set up their desired agenda?
e) the timing of the event around other events leading the way to war?
f) level of emotional media propaganda?
g) total lack of proper media investigation of the event? /100% assumption of the ff narrative
h) names and histories of key individuals taking advantage of the event
i) MONEY trails and investments that can be traced around/as a result of the event
j) how many lies/embellishments were spun into the narrative to hype it up?
k) how many opposing facts to the narrative were blacked out of media discussion?

Etc etc

I think you’d be hard pressed to find a US war in the last bunch of decades that either weren’t outright proven false flags, or at minimum checks off the majority of those boxes.

If you google false flag you'll get a very different and more specific definition.

In the case of the USS Maine. That ship definitely blew up and it definitely wasn't by the Americans. That immediately excludes it from the false flag conversation. Under your ever expanding definition of false flag, I could make an argument America was never involved in one.

Why did he turn it down?
didn't have political aspirations. Wanted to be a 'boots in the sand, rifle in my hand' kind of commander.

The Iranian hardliners looked at him the way a lot of neo-cons look at Gen Mattis.
that's not a great analogy, and I apologize to Gen Mattis. Think of it as casting a mold in silver, and then re-casting the mold with pigeon shit.

Soleimani was very popular among the troops and the fundamentalist crowd. But even moderates and progressives respected his military career and achievements.
