It's best to use a new password everywhere.

But at minimum you should use four levels of passwords.

A basic password for things like signups and newsletters and things like that.

Another one for social media and what not

And a third for bank accounts and secure things like that.

then your email needs to be absolutely separate from everything. That's the recovery point. It shouldn't match anything else.

Add two factor authentication to as many things as you can.

as chrome and other things add password managers you really should use a strong password new for everything. I don't even know most of my passwords cuz they're all in a password manager.

I have all my account info in a text document on my desktop named "accounts"
