Outstanding in college.

Had his moments in the pros but for the most part was ineffective.

I will forever respect him for breaking the hearts of Steelers fans in the playoffs.
when athleticism mattered more than football-IQ, he was dominant.
when football-IQ mattered more than athleticism, he was not very good.

I would guess yes but you never know. Maybe she will just get a visa each time they go to the US.
I had a visa for a long time, it wasn't something I had to renew every time I left or came back to the country.I have a Green Card now but I'm not a citizen, seems more hassle than it's worth. The Green Card process cost enough and was hassle enough as it was really.

(not whining, just don't see why I would)

He was clutch in NFL in certain situations
just never got a chance to start a game after denver ditched him for peyton manning

was extremely limited as a passer
for about 15 games he was like a Huge RB/Passer...showed the broncos how to win again after some shitty seasons

Part of the problem was he brought like 50 media members wherever he went...NFL teams don't want that distraction on the roster for a slightly above average NFL dude

Plus he wouldn't switch to another position...he could easily have hung around as some sort of H back.

That steeler game was epic...he had some of the most unreal finishes and comebacks that season...at the time I said he ended the steelers dynasty(and he may have Super Bowl wise)

I liked Tim when he was playing for Denver...when they brought in Manning I was hoping they would let Tebow learn under Manning then take back the reigns when Peyton retired but that never happened as they traded him to the Jets when they acquired Manning.

So was he so famous because of the religion thing? I'd even heard of him when apart from watching the Super Bowl every year I knew naff all about it.

He's famous for being one of the best college qbs ever. His openness about religion certainly added to his notoriety.

After college, there was debate on whether or not his skills transitioned to the NFL. He had enough failures - and success - to allow the debate to continue 7 years later. People who are in his corner boast about the playoff win against PIT. People who were thinking he wasn't good enough (like me) point to his sub 50% completion rate.

Then he flipped to baseball and much of the same debate kicked off again. Some claimed he was only getting a shot because of the fan draw, and some thinking he was legit good enough (he's not). He's still chasing this dream and has a .223 average over 3 years of ball. Not good.

He's a good dude, a decent analyst and a hell of a hard worker and athlete. If he has one fault it's being stubborn as a mule, and he probably should have taken people's advice that his football talent level was more suited at a different position (HB, TE).
