He could at least have been clipped onto it with a safety line.
He made a last ditch effort to grab on but came up just short.
what was the point of the barricade? there'd be nothing but space between me and that basket.

Bad plan for sure...maybe place a timed or remote explosive right there and get them dudes outta there

i debated posting that.
eventually I decided that it was so unfunny that it was pretty funny.
oh I doubt it was the last too, some of them are clearly cut when it starts going but 1 wouldn't be enough to hold it.

I'd guess they were cutting supports so that everything fell where it was supposed to.
but they probably didn't account for something like 'uneven snow load' or the fact that the builder skimmed the construction fund with cheap concrete...but they were probably down to the last few and that's why there was only one guy cutting.
