16 year old me had a stupid one which I would like to carve off rather than a do over but thankfully it isn't in a prominent place.

Anyone have one? I have 3 pretty prominent tattoos so I'm not adverse, but I don't understand how anyone could trust a family member etc portrait.

No, there's something about that that just feels weird.
I do have tattoos, but the last one was decades ago, & I wish I could erase them all.

My whore sister in law got her ex husband to get her name tattooed on him while she was banging his best friend. She is now married to the best friend. I despise that cunt and her new midget husband. Getting tattoos of a significant other isnt something I'd do,.. and I love my wife. A lot of people I knkw have done that and they all got divorced. My wife has mentioned getting my name tattooed which is the only way I'd think about doing it also. But my wife isnt the tattoo type so i told her not to. I only have a few tattoos. I got a kanji tattoo on the middle of my upper back that means hatred malice and regret that I got at age 17. No one knows that but my wife and you guys. Later on I got a kanji tattoo on my wrist for my birthday that means good fortune and happiness that pretty much means the opposite of my back one. I was set up on a blind date with my wife by a friend the next day. I also have a Nietzsche quote tattooed on me..."he who fights monsters should see to it that he does not become a monster himself ". I thought about getting my kids names tattooed , but to be honest. I dont care for tattoos anymore

My kid was a huge oogie boogie fan, from The Nightmare Before Christmas movie, when he was very young. I've been wanting to get a tattoo of Oogie with my kids birthday on it for years. His nickname is Boogie monster, so it will be over my heart. Off center, and fuck all. It's for me.

Not a fan of portraits, I always feel for the people portrayed... dead family members even worse. Like, did they really want that?

As for tattooes in general, most tattoos age poorly, what is cool now can become cliche 10 years down the road. Like barbwire, tribals, and tramp stamps. Relics of the 90s...
