All three Jewish groups can be considered fairly inbred, honestly. The Ashkenazim went through several “bottleneck” events.

How do you think we got so unathletic?

Inbreeding is relative. We have a small population, but we weren’t fucking our sisters like you southern yokels. Limited inward gene flow simply meant there weren’t dummies diluting our mighty brains. There’s only 20 million people of full or partial Jewish descent in the world and we we were fairly isolated so compared to other ethnicities that are larger we have a less diverse gene pool. This is true of any small ethnicity.
