Accuracy matters. When someone presents obviously false evidence, it completely taints their entire case. I used to have a very different opinion of the Israel/Palestine situation, but after looking just slightly beyond what's directly presented an entirely different picture starts to emerge, and that picture doesn't make either side look like innocent victims.
