It really should be a bigger story that Trump eats his steaks "well done" with ketchup.

I lost any bit of respect I had for him when I read that years ago.

PS. Bloomberg is a turd that needs to be flushed but I support his crusade to bring this sad truth to light.

And since his source was basically the brilliant mind of Wild @Wild's boy, Charlie Kirk...

He didn’t word it eloquently but he has a point. Who cares if minimum wage is $15/hr, if you’re going to tax people at 50-70% of their income, to cover all of the stupid ass socialist programs you’re wanting to implement. I worked for a Dutch company for several years. Beautiful country. Beautiful people. But heavily taxed. And they all wanted (and many did) to move here.

Bloomberg is a clown but if he wants to spend HIS money on this, that’s his choice.

Im actually a little confused by all the shit talk of Bloomberg financing his own campaign... how is taking money from corporations and private donors any better?

$400 million for Bloomberg is chump change. We keep hearing it like it’s some absurd number but in reality it’s not for a billionaire.

Misinformation.

Neither you or anyone you know would be charged a 50-70% tax rate.

He didn't really need to word it better. He just needed to use proper information. But that wouldn't fit his narrative.

Keep in mind, I'm not a Bernie supporter at all. But I still like to live in a world where facts are actually facts. Not the Guiliani "Facts aren't facts." And Kellyanne "... alternative facts" world that we currently exist in.

Then none of his proposed programs (free healthcare, free college, etc) are ever going to happen, because you can't give everyone "free" shit without taxing working class Americans 50-70% (or more).

The only concern that I have with Bloomberg is that he's actually proving that if you're willing to spend money then you can buy your way into office. He went from nowhere to polling highly because he bought his way there.

I'm also against all of the absurd amounts of money, private donations or Super Pacs, involved. But it's the system that we were given so if he wanted to spend 10 billion to get elected then good for him.

What it should make you everyone question is why would anyone spend that much of their wealth for a $400k a year position?

Didn’t you see the report last week that stated America would save like $450,000,000,000 annually if it went to Medicare ?
Medicare For All would save $450 billion annually while preventing 68,000 deaths, new study shows
The analysis, conducted by researchers at Yale University, the University of Florida and the University of Maryland

Once again.. I don't like Bernie's plan overall because I think it will stifle business growth. Also as a healthy person that almost never uses my insurance the difference in my tax increase vs what I'm paying for insurance (my company is small in number of employees so our rates aren't great due to lack of bargaining power) that I'm not using is negligible.

But Kirk and the assholes spouting such horribly inaccurate information scaring a household that makes 100k a year into thinking that now they'll be clearing 48k before the state takes their cut is reprehensible at best.

The average American family seeing about $2,400 in annual savings (so I'm going to save $200/mo but pay more in taxes? No thanks)

Providing better health care access to lower-income families (My insurance sucks so bad I may as well not even have any. I get bills in the mail constantly for hundreds, even thousands, of dollars for doctor visits. How are lower income families paying the same bills I am getting? They're not. We're paying for it, so what's the difference?)

Other studies analyzing a proposed universal health care system have come up with different conclusions from those of the new research. While some have shown cost savings, similar to Galvani's study, others have shown that overall expenses would simply even out, while some have predicted that the policy would end up costing substantially more.

"The real question is how soon they [the savings] can be realized – it seems hard to imagine this entire gap could be chopped away in one or two years without providing too much of a shock to health care providers," he said. "But it also seems hard to imagine that something like M4A would not be able to deliver really large savings over time-spans of a decade or more."

So it could take up to decade to realize the cost savings. Who pays for it for the first 10 years then? Also, trying to get this passed thru a divided Congress. It's a pipe dream. It may work over time. Maybe. But good luck paying for it initially, and good luck getting it passed. So if that's the case, why vote Bernie in at all? I'd rather have another 4 years of economic growth, more jobs, less taxes, less restrictions, increased border security, etc under Trump.

I'm up for a progressive taxation. But why do we tax less than 10k at all and then lump 250k income at the same level as 2 million?

Drop less than 10k to zero. They are broke. Screw it.
Lower that 250-500 a little. Increase the 500-2 million.
Prob same revenue.
