Venom (Tom Hardy) - 6.5/10.

Worth watching for Eddie Brock and Venom's interactions.
I liked it but wasn't mad for it and I would happily watch Hardy read the back of a shampoo bottle to me for an hour.

Bit too tongue in cheek, I wanted him to be more scary.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I arrived at a 6.5. In my opinion it's worth seeing and I'm very much looking forward to the sequel. I wanted to love it, but thought I was going to hate it. I look forward to the day that movie studios are a little more honest with themselves about what they can or can't do with CGI and have it be believable, and I don't mean in the suspensoin of belief sense, I mean in the "This looks like a fucking cartoon" sense.

I must have forgotten there was going to be a sequel or didn't know. It needed to be a lot darker, I wasn't expecting to go into the cinema and laugh.
Like I said, still enjoyed it but it wasn't what I expected from it.

Midsommar- 1/10 Wow was this bad. Not 1 like able character.

Color out of space - 4/10 I feel like you need drop acid to enjoy this one.

We need to talk about Kevin 2/10 - This is one of the slowest movies I have ever watched.

I have learned my lesson. If it gets nominated for some “award” or “film festival”; I am not watching it.

Not many films featuring curling nowadays.
Good for a few laughs. I'll watch anything with Leslie Nielson RIP. As a bonus it has a solid Canadian soundtrack.
Sadly, this flick was too Canadian for this Canadian.

Jojo Rabbit - 9/10

Don't normally enjoy movies with kid leads but this kid and his Nazi friend were entertaining.

I'm never disappointed by Scarlett Johansson and Sam Rockwell continues to be under-rated. Another great performance by him.

It's a feel good movie, which feels weird to say given Hitler's inclusion and the anti-Semitism (sorry @Shlomo Lars ), that I look forward to watching again.

The mother's death was a heartbreaking scene though

Just watching Manchester by the Sea.

FINGERS @Fingers , Manchester by the Sea was POWERFUL, but not Apocalypse Now....& Blade Runner no likey???

I just feel they are not as great as people make out.

Apocalypse now is style over substance. And Blade runner has good moments and an excellent premise with also great set design but it's laboured.

I love Harrison ford and Scott but this film is a but of a mess imo
