I’d like to hear a follow up on his ear. It was bleeding but I don’t know if it was a cut or from inside. If he blew his eardrum I could see why he was all wobbly and why maybe his corner threw in the towel.
Aunt Mary curse is a possibility too. Can’t think of any other explanations for why he looked like a hobo in there
there was blood coming from inside the ear after the fight too, could see it as they were cleaning him up
I've had a perforated ear drum, both, and also at the same time. Not from Kung Fu but from having shit ears. It can be debilitating for sure but not to the extent we saw.

I think it was all the issues, injured leg reducing his ability to train properly, equilibrium from his damaged ear, and being hit by a giant man.
I have to rewatch the fight again, I didn't see any serious looking punches landing. But sometimes just the clipping shots do more damage than they look
