your two top fellas.

first one feasts at five guys every day for 6 months while popping into the gym once a week. gets embarrassed.

second guy relies so heavily on power that he is lost when things switch up. gets bashed.

after the Tyson/Anthony Joshua fight, the next contender will be the winner of Joe Joyce vs Daniel Dubois. who is the next American HW?

Lol doesn’t matter if the fighter is black or white or where he is from, a true fan simply appreciates skill and talent.

Although as an American I was rooting for Fury after seeing that rediculous walk out song by Wilder used to build up racial tensions / hate / divide people ...where as Fury chose to sing an all American classic song to help bring everyone in that arena and watching at home together in the post fight.

I love the banter between nations but we don't need threads like this stinking the place up, shame on you Jimmy.

Tyson got better after the last fight, Wilder did not.
it's just that simple.

except it clearly isn't that simple
it was. The same Wilder showed up last night as in 2018, but not the same Fury. Fury was bigger and more accurate.
If you hit harder and land more, you're going to beat the guy that you drew with last time.

except that wasn't the same Wilder, he was a fair bit heavier and lacked any mobility.

but carry on trolling, everyone else is

FWIW, Wilder didn't put on that much weight. It was 19 lbs over the first fight, but that was the lowest Wilder had ever weighed for a fight. It was about 10-12 pounds over his average weigh-in.

Fury used his size to put Wilder on the ropes and limit his ability to slip out and land from off-angles. At the end of the 2nd, Wilder tried to slip out to his right, when Tyson threw a beautiful straight right. But Wilder was on the ropes, didn't move enough, and took the shot on his ear.

After that, Wilder was fighting on a boat. IMO - before the 3rd, Wilder looked like Wilder.
It was Tyson's size and accuracy that turned Wilder in to a punching bag for 5 rounds.

what's that got to do with not improving? he had a leg injury going into the fight that must've affected his training

I'm often critical of Wilder and have been for years but he was injured last night and it made a difference.

he was flat footed from the start, so no not normal Wilder at all

Wilder looked off from the get go but Fury was out standing, he pressed Wilder hard all fight long, took away his power and completely negated the right hand.

That clubbing shot to the ear in the 3rd was the writing on the wall, Deontay never really got his balance back after that and Fury poured it on him, never let him get back into the fight.

The better boxer won, made the right adjustments since their first meeting and in the fight its self.

Was a great performance from a brilliant boxer, I don't like him but Fury is the man.

And yeah, fuck that stupid walkout from Wilder, he must have been blind by the time he made it to the ring with those LEDs in the mask, never mind how slow he had to walk, that shit is not good pre fight practice.

The US hasn't had the best HW boxer at any given time since Lennox Lewis emerged in the 90s and by far the best American HW boxer since the year 2000 has been Wilder, who can't actually box for shit.

This isn't a new phenomenon. It started roughly 25 years ago. US HWs went from dominating the scene to sucking very quickly. The best big man talent in the US plays basketball or football instead.
