why do democrats get so many debates? Thats like an advertisement. Do republicans not have debates because no one wants to go against trump?
In the first two states (Iowa and New Hampshire), Trump won 97% and 85% of the caucus/primary votes, respectively. No one opposed him in the Nevada caucuses and no one is opposing him in the South Carolina primary.
Generally sitting presidents are a shoo-in for their party's nomination. The last time a sitting President was opposed in an actual competitive primary was 1968, but that guy (Lyndon B Johnson) had never been elected in the first place and had assumed the presidency when JFK got shot up (Johnson was Kennedy's VP).
That's not the case with Trump. He's popular amongst Republican voters.
As for Republican politicians, I'm sure you've noticed that they're all beta cuck pussies who fall in line and suck the President's dick on everything.
