Governments are always there. That's why they're target #1 of financial capitalism. if it isn't Bolsonaro it will be a military coup and if the establishment falls it will be a National Assembly of some sorts - and they'll all inherit the same "public" debt.
if we get to total chaos then a single individual with a handgun will be just about the most helpless entity of them all.
BTW Bolsonaro is infected with the corona. 24 people that traveled to the US with him have been diagnosed and he refuses to release his results. he also potentially passed it to thousands of people when he went out to greet and shake hands with his supporters (most elderly of course) on March, 15 - "The Ides of March" - right in the middle of the whole pandemic. Unlike other countries, Brazil has two crisis to deal with - Coronavirus and Bolsonaro.

Agree that I'm stereotyping people in the post quoted above and that it's not a nice thing to do; you're completely wrong that I'm "just starting shit and venting on people for exercising their right to bare arms" though. What happened is that for some reason I ended up in a discussion about guns which I'm not very knowledgeable about and I'm not specially interested in. I had much more insightful exchanges with some members others than the one I was replying to in that post and they even made me think about the subject in a new light. Overall I do believe what I said there to some extent but it obviously does not apply to everybody.
it's very weird to me the average American stance on their "right to bare arms" and the implications made about liberty and such. I would name a thousand rights that I find more important than the right to bare arms. I'll have to say though that IMO the fact that you think I was "venting on people for exercising their right to bare arms" implies that you got too triggered about the subject. at worst, I was venting on that particular person for exercising his right to be an asshole on the internet.
