'Somewhere on Earth'

Ari is willing to go further than I predicted, but this still could obviously get shut down. Note, in the poll I made I did include the option of a shitty bunch of warehouse fights being called 'UFC 249', as I considered them going full retard a legit possibility.

But if Tony-Gaethje goes ahead on April 18 I will accept that even I underestimated the UFC's scumbaggery.

Okay . I revised my thoughts

Hear me out

Let them go ahead with the UFC event . No problem .

BUT

If any of the people involved contract Covid 19 as a direct result of the event then they are NOT eligible for health care .

This means that they cannot take up space in the hospitals or have ventilators used on them . They are on their own and if they die they die .

They are all going out of their way on their own free wills to break social distancing and the quarantine.

Why would they deserve a hospital bed when we are already overloaded ?

Fuck em

Give it to the man who got it by going grocery shopping for basic needs!

Or the woman who is an essential employee doing her job who gets it then .

The front line workers and the ones doing what they can to stay indoors are the heros in this saga

But but but .. 'the fighters need to make money"

Yeah .. me too. I lost my fucking job over this and cannot work, why are these guys special ?

Who here is making an income right now ?

They are one of us . They can tough it out .

I have too!

Does this mean I can ignore the rules and continue my business despite all the bylaws in place ?

You would all be calling for my head if I did something like that

You are all a bunch of brainwashed fools

What a fucking multi millionaire gets to make an income but the guys out here who are being forced to shut down their businesses can't ?

Fuck you

I am going to lose my fucking business . Newsflash cunts I am not a millionaire.

In fact I am barley holding on right now

But sure let's let these fucksticks continue to make money . Let's let them take a shit on the rules . They are special . They entertain us

Fools

Fuck them . If they catch covid after this they DO NOT deserve medical attention . Leave it to the people who aren't breaking the rules .

repost

Imagine being Shish Khabib and leaving the west coast back to the bathtub with his Dagis while talking all that "send location" bullshit and now he can't come back when the event is announced. He didn't want da smoke...

it's crazy but I'm glad UFC is happening. No MMA for weeks was getting to me psychologically.

Much respect to all the fighters on the card, putting their lives on the line to feed their family and for our entertainment.

I'm sure UFC will do EVERYTHING in their power that nothing happens, UFC don't want any smoke.

but it is a big gamble because if anything goes wrong, this might be the last event of the UFC

I haven't been following that closely because I think this is a terrible decision but has Dana addressed the ppv price?

Offering this for free on ESPN would be such an investment in the sport’s mainstream future. People are hungry for sports competition, regardless of the event. Hardcores, casuals, and non-fans alike would tune in. If Dana says they are doing this for free for the sake of public morale he could also soften the backlash UFC is facing from people for risking hosting an event, and he would be in the news for something other than his affair/extortion.

He's delusional if he thinks people are that desperate for MMA that they'll pay money for this.

Its been 3 weeks you head case, 3 weeks is not that big a fucking deal, a few years ago you were lucky to have a card a month.

This is absolutely not worth the potential damage done for a fucking fight card.

you goof i don't have any control over this shit, i'm just being honest, besides no one's putting a gun to their heads to fight, they're all choosing to fight.

if they feel like it's too dangerous, they don't have to fight

Your post is fair enough, the start of it I don't get, its 3 weeks man, it isn't the end of the world, if someone dies as a result of this card going forward it will cause serious problems.
