Very weird comment...it's a pretty blatant hole in Conor's game that he's not the best grappler out there.
He's giving credit to both and pointing out how absurd it is for people to say that Conor has no ground skills just because he was submitted by a far superior grappler while he was hurt and taking damage.
Conor definitely needs to continue to working on his ground game but that doesn't mean that he's a bad grappler. Just that he was outclassed by someone that is known for being super slick on the ground as was expected.

Even Eddie Bravo mentioned on JRE that Connor's Ju Jitsu is good, just Nate is waaaay better. Eddie also said that Conor came down to 10th planet and they rolled and that's how he knows.

he caught a lot of criticism for various shit he said especially to Anthony Perosh, and then got owned super fast when they fought.

I think Conor's issues are more with his control on the ground and takedowns/takedown defense, which are all big aspects of wrestling. We've seen him in big trouble on the ground twice now. I think he needs to work wrestling more so than BJJ. That's just my own opinion though.
