I'm really not sure how everyone thought the first fight would play out. Conor was on a great streak and had huge momentum. I'm sure alot of you thought he would get the win. Me personally, I thought it was a toss up. I couldn't pick a winner. But now...after seeing what happened do you think he can make enough adjustments to defeat Diaz? I don't. My son does. So who do you got and why?

Diaz. Re-run of the last fight except Nate isnt as bloodied up at the end.

I still dream of watching Nate do what he did to Pellegrino in a main event...

I say Diaz, I just don't see him being finished. That being said, I wasn't sure what was going to happen in the first fight, but now that I know I don't see Diaz losing if he be prepared

I think Diaz wins but I think it goes to the 5th and late stoppage or decision....but I have this little tiny echoe telling me McGregor is going to do/win it somehow.
If the Cavs beat Golden State then I'd be more likely to say Conor

Diaz wins. He is more than capable of standing against Conor and if it hits the mats we are talking world class BJJ vs eh. Not to mention Conor has no business in any weight class but featherweight.

If Diaz wins, Conor may go into hiding. He pretty much isnt going back to 145, Wouldnt survive at 170, and 155 is a shark tank. Good luck Leppy

This is going as I thought. Its currently 11-1 in Nate's favor. I'm curious what a poll here would have shown prior to UFC 196. It would have to be a little closer.

I don't even care about this fight to be honest. Nate should challenge RDA for the belt, and Conor should return to his weightclass to defend his title against who ever is most deserving. I'd say Aldo deserves a rematch, but is now of course facing Edgar first. And I think Aldo will take that one.

Exactly, Nate is too big and strong. And you can't catch up with his ground game with a camp or two, that takes years if not light years.

in diaz's shoes, if you were 100% about the $$$$, wouldn't it make sense to lose the next one?

if diaz wins the next one, he'll be lucky if he gets paid a fraction vs rda or whoever is in the top 5. can't even remember their names. if diaz loses the next one, the rubber is $$$$ in the bank.

if i was diaz's manager, i'd tell him to smoke the icky yicky up to the walk out, beat that ass, take the no contest/vacation, to set up the rubber that mcgregor's drunk ass inbred fanbase will still buy.

I wasn't shocked at all and I actually tried to put money on the fight. Rematch goes he same way, probably with Diaz taking less damage.

Yeah man, I'm the same. I'm not rooting for either guys. If Conor can avenge his defeat, good for him.

I can understand people's dislike for the guy but he makes me laugh. Wearing those pedo-style framed lenses, wearing Gucci shirts, saying "you got to have a fat wallet to wear all white clothes KNOW THAT" like we give a fuck, he's hilarious. I'm not really up on his Twitter or anything but saw a few pics last week and they're always amusing. What I'm getting at is, characters are good for the sport. So I wish him success.

I got Diaz. The only aspect of Conor's game that he really could drastically improve on in the short time since their last fight is cardio. Even then, Nate does triathlons for fun. He can push a pace that would wear Conor down.

What he did to Conor last time was very impressive. He had a slow start, probably because of only having 10 days to prepare, but when got going the fight changed from an even, back-and-forth scrap to domination by Nate. I see no reason why he can't do it again, especially with a proper camp.

Totally agree. He has been a breath of fresh air to MMA. Villian/prophet, whatever you wanna call him, i make sure i tune in for his shenanigans.

I watched every press conference leading up to the first fight multiple times and was very amused. So fun. I wish there were reasons for me to stay captivated. A McGregor win would do that.

I picked Conor at first, thinking he could utilize his kicks to keep distance against the Diaz methodical prodding forward style.

IMO Conor fell victim to Mystic Mac, and tried way to hard to end it in the first with those funny pony tail in the park wheel kicks.

Connor. Me and 2 buddies at work discussed the first fight before it happened and suspected nate might get him and hes a bad match up etc. While we were right i was shocked at how well connor did and how much he was able to land on nate. I think this time, with the added focus and work on his gameplan he can keep him busy and bloody and win it.





Although i hope nate beats him again and talks some more shit. I like that

Rematches are rarely like the first fight. Both Mcgregor and Diaz are likely to make adjustments, I think Mcgregor wins a UD.

Anne frankly im shocked at the polls here. Im no mcgregor bandwagoner (i picked jose and nate) i dont beleive he was as much hype as these votes suggest.

He was lighting nate up there and made some mistake.
