hippies are nation wide from new york to the west coast.. most of california is full of blue collar, farmers or lumber towns.. the big cities are full of ghettos.. ,maybe there are some towns/areas that are very liberal like Berkeley/Oakland but there are some fucked hoods there too.. not sure if that answers your question about prisons tho.. i have a cousin that served time in san quentin he said it was pretty fucked up there..
Nah I dont have any questions about the prisons unless anyone has personally been there and Ive seen the San Quentin episode of Lock Up Raw so Im across that.
While locked up in santa rita county jail I heard someone say that the toilets in san Quentin had backed up and overflowed causing the whole prison to be flooded with shit water
