Listen, I'm not a rankings guru guy. I don't care for the nuances of determining who "deserves" to be the #1 contender. But Khabib is far and away the best fighter in that division. He is the uncrowned champ. He knocked the dust off vs. Horcher, but at the end of the day you're dealing with a tough as nails, powerful grappler, hard puncher and all-around beast with this guy. Very scary dude. Nate should want no part of this guy and neither should anyone else.
What win was most impressive?
It wasn't so much the opponent as his overall style of fighting is terribly problematic for the whole division, but his victory of RDA stands out. I feel his overall strength/power is special. Just an opinion.

We all realize that the rankings are pretty lame anyways but is this accurate to anybody? If so how?

They should have a technical ranking and a money ranking. The guys ranked high on the money list are priorities and only 1-3 per division. If a fighter is no.1 on the technical ranking, you can move in as the #3 in the money ranking. The top guy at the money ranking is someone like Conor or Ronda, who brings in the most eyes and $$$ for the division. how bout it??

Good sign for Khabib that they are manipulating the rankings to have him on top.
I think the UFC wants to stop the Conor train before it goes off the rails and Khabib is their safety blanket (pun very much intended).

He's one of the most overrated fighters because of his win against RDA. Don't get me wrong he's good, but that one win against a unknown fighter doesn't mean he deserves #1.
