Already know the answer. Hard candies and chocolates. They're stuck together and melted respectively. Sometimes both.

Shit, i remember them days. Someone would get a package and it was on like donkey kong.
The best was jerky, because the protein would fill you up. Cookies were also highly coveted. You get a pack of Keebler's soft batch? People gonna hit you up.
No glass containers. Easily breakable, heavy and therefore expensive to ship. Tupperware, or saran wrap that shit of at all possible.
Dunno how the pogey bait situation is built up to now over there, but when we first got there we didn't have shit. We were part of the initial push into iraq, so nothing was there except what we built ourselves.
We finally got a shitty ass PX in al asad air base, and i've seen dirt poor bodegas with better selection.
