Following two instances of athletic commissions denying him a license to fight, former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans is cleared to resume competing, and it looks as if he’ll be making his middleweight debut on March 4th. ESPN and MMA Fighting both reported that Evans will face Daniel Kelly at UFC 209 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Evans (19-5-1) last fought in April 2016, losing by first-round KO to Glover Teixeira in the UFC on FOX 19 main event.
