Rashad Evans vs. Daniel Kelly targeted for UFC 209

Following two instances of athletic commissions denying him a license to fight, former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans is cleared to resume competing, and it looks as if he’ll be making his middleweight debut on March 4th. ESPN and MMA Fighting both reported that Evans will face Daniel Kelly at UFC 209 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Evans (19-5-1) last fought in April 2016, losing by first-round KO to Glover Teixeira in the UFC on FOX 19 main event. It's concerning that two AC's didn't license him to fight, and now he's been cleared. Hope he isn't risking injury that could have been avoided.

I really like this one.
Dan Kelly is on a streak, and deserved someone with "name value".
Rashad should pick his stand up apart, but old man "Dads Army" strength with a good judo base will be great to watch.
This will be his third fight on the same card as Mark Hunt.
