Forgot my lunch so I walked to the grocery and grabbed a can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew and ate it cold right out of the can. Grossed a few people out who saw me doing it.

Truck started making some horrible fucking noise Wednesday on the way to work. Metal on metal shit. Figured brakes. Today was the first chance I had to check it out. Took off the front tires and everything looked fine. Took off the backs and the right rear rotor was grooved to hell and back.
Inside pad - yeah, pretty fucked.
Piston boot is also jacked. But that will have to wait for another day...

@the_b00ts - how big of a deal is this? It was probably harder to get it to retract with a c-clamp than it should have been - I'm guessing from dirt and shit that got in there. The other side is ripped too. Vehicle is a 2002 Silverado.
About 1-1/2 beers later, good to go:

I know. But it worked. When it gets warmer I'll replace it all. Fuck freezing my ass off outside working on brakes.
It just snowed 2 inches this morning. Fuck that noise.
Building a maui hook for brother in laws wedding gift. 3 patterns glued together so far. Gonna be a lot of shaping/sanding.
I'm doing a far smaller scale of this. Not gonna use the glow in the dark paint. I think it's a little tacky. Gonna stain Maori designs into it.

Not even close. Roughly shaped. A lot of sanding left. Waiting for warmer weather so I'm not finishing it in the snow.
I know you don't really do curries in the US but we had a takeaway tonight, chicken jalfrezi - vindaloo hot.
I can do hot and gave chillies probably 4 meals a week (married to an Indian) but fuck me this was hot. I had a tea towel next to me to wipe the sweat away.
Probably one of the 10 hottest curries I've ever eaten!
Add in 4 pints of Kingfisher and the alarm set for just over 3 hours away for the prelims and I feel manly as fuck.
