Oh, so you are saying they limit the amount of devices you can download it to? I'd only be using it on 1 or 2 devices, so no worries there.I would never suggest that. Just giving you a heads up. The amp modeling itself works really well.
That price doesn't correlate to my current abilities. Haha.If you've got a few pennies to spare...
I only ever used it as a plug-in for Pro Tools. Didn't know it was a standalone program now. What about the recording capabilities?
Are you recording music?I only ever used it as a plug-in for Pro Tools. Didn't know it was a standalone program now.
I haven't in years and years. My older version of Amplitude isn't compatible with the new plug-in containers that Pro Tools requires and I never bothered to upgrade. Are you recording music?
I haven't yet, my guitarist got me pro tools on a student discount, and I use Native Instrument and Ableton Live too. I have an HD iRig that I picked up for $75 (some girl was selling her ex boyfriend's.... Her brother told her to sell for $100, I talked her to $75)@Kingtony87

Any of you guys played around with Amplitude 4? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this software.

Yea it looks more like a plug in as opposed to a dawI only ever used it as a plug-in for Pro Tools. Didn't know it was a standalone program now.
I use a Behringer FCA610 as my main interface. Got it super cheap off Amazon on Black Friday a few years ago. Haven't done anything other than simple voice-over edits the past few years though. Need to start up a new project.Yea when behringer bought out this German mic pre amp company midas their interfaces got way better
That's what I just bought. An iRig HD2 interface. It was $100, but it comes with the Amplitube 4 software which has an 8 track DAW/recorder.I have an HD iRig

Nice set up that amp looks intriguingHere is the electric I've been messing with
And the British-made Gibson Goldtone amp. This thing sounds amazing. I have only ever used smaller amps. Love this one. I might not give it back to my brother
Thanks man. It sounds great - big, full, clean sound. I don't know much about it (my bro is the gearhead), but apparently the British made Gibson amps are coveted. It's a tube amp and it has gain and reverb built in. And even though it has 'Gibson' stamped on it, it was made by Trace Elliot.Nice set up that amp looks intriguing
Sorry guy I wouldn't be the one to ask, I haven't any software in years.@Kingtony87

There's mini amps you can buy for less than a couple hundred bucksThe only thing I have is a 4 track from the 90s.
I've been playing mostly acoustic for the last 15 years, but I want to dust off the electric but I don't feel like lugging my solid state CRATE amp all over the place so I'm looking at software. I literally have nothing right now.
Yeah. I've looked at those but I think I'm ready to go digital. I'm very intrigued with the sound this software generates. There are 30+ amps to play through, and you can choose different speakers and mics for recording. It feels very "gimmicky" but everything I've watched online sounds awesome. There's mini amps you can buy for less than a couple hundred bucks
