Russia is not the US. We won the Cold War and the Soviet Union lost it.

Comparing any other country in the world to the US -- when no other country in the world has as much military or economic power -- is illogical.

If Russia set up missile defense systems in either country on our border, those systems would be destroyed by our military.

Because we can do that and Russia can't.

It's really not that hard to understand.
Why would the US not accept a foreign anti-US missile dfence system on their borders?

I think you are either unable to articulate an answer or you're trying to avoid honestly answering the question.
If I'm wrong then so be it but here's the question again:
Too obvious.

Step your game up boooooyyyyyyyy

They won't catch us (NORAD) sleeping; that's just not going to happen.

They can get away with that bullshit all they want in Europe, where every country outside of the UK is too weak to properly defend its airspace against Russian aggression, but that shit isn't gonna "fly" in North America.

I'll see myself out.
Keyboard warrior, that shit is going to fly whenever Vladimir wants it to fly.

I post a video of Russian fighters having disabled the aegis system of a us aircraft carrier and just flying over the american crew who are sitting ducks, like 10 times as if they are taking a stroll on red square and your response is a video of lift offs?

Of course Russian fighters will move out when they are intercepted, as Americans do as well when they are intercepted by Russians. Hopefully no one is stupid enough to start a third world war - although with the fucked up military establishment that runs your country you never know. Don't be fooled that you have the upper hand though.

So flying unarmed fighter jets close to one of our ships = disabling AEGIS now?

And that was a destroyer, not an aircraft carrier. I'm well aware you have no idea what a modern aircraft carrier might look like, as the only piece of shit Russia has was built in the Khrushchev era.

My bad on the aircraft carrier / destroyer mix-up, it's early morning here. Russia doesn't have aircraft carriers because it's not an imperialistic country. Aircraft carriers are not meant to defend your own country, they are meant to be used as an offensive force around the world.

The video released by the Navy has them stating they continue to track and monitor the su-24. They officially denied the Russian propaganda story at the time. Russia sent an unarmed plane to buzz a U.S. ship because either the U.S. shoot it down and look like aggressors, or Russia can crow about buzzing a U.S. warship.

That article makes a claim that all 27 crew resigned afterwards. A destroyer the size of the Donald Cook has nearly 300 crew members. It uses a retired Russian Major-General for it's analysis, and claims an Iranian scientist, called Keshe who had been poisoned by the government but survived, created the technoqology called Magrav Technology which you yourself can download at this link for a small fee.

Since this incident, multiple U.S. destroyers have been sent into the black sea, several joint NATO training exercises have happened there. So the U.S. and NATO aren't scared to operate in the black sea, despite reportedly being 'defenceless'. Also none of the navy personnel have come forward to corroborate the story, even all 27 that 'resigned', which can't actually resign since they sign up for a certain period of time.

Some people need to learn how to critically assess sources and not just accept whatever they read as fact.

Russia flies military observation plane over Capitol, Pentagon, CIA
Russia flies military observation plane over Capitol, Pentagon, CIA

CBS news' David Martin confirms that Russia flew an military observation plane over Washington D.C. on Wednesday, over the Capitol, the Pentagon and the CIA Wednesday, as part of the U.S. compliance with the Open Skies Treaty. CNN first reported the overflight.

Under the Open Skies Treaty, first signed in 1992, 34 countries -- including the U.S. and Russia -- allow member states to conduct unarmed observation flights in order to foster transparency about military activity and help monitor arms control and other agreements.

In 2016, Russia requested permission to equip its observation aircraft with digital electro-optical sensors, which some member states thought might allow Russia to collect more detailed intelligence. In June 2016, the U.S. allowed a Russian jet with the technology to fly over the U.S.

Observation flights by member countries are allowed over the entire territory of other member states. States have to provide 72 hours' advance notice of their flyover plans, but the host country, under the treaty, may not restrict access to any part of its territory except for safety reasons. In the past, Russia has been accused of unfairly restricting some of its territory from view, in particular, over Chechnya or within 10 kilometers of its border with Georgia, according to the Arms Control Center.

The treaty was signed during President George H.W. Bush's presidency, though President Dwight Eisenhower had the idea for it. He felt that transparency between the U.S. and Russia would reduce the risk of direct conflict between the two, according to the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation. Moscow didn't think much of the idea at the time, but after the Cold War, Russia reconsidered when Bush brought it up again.
