As fun as it was to watch those late years of his career it's a shame that they tarnished just how great he was.

His Pirate and early Giant years were a cool era in baseball. You had guys like him and Eric Davis batting 3rd hitting 30+ homeruns and stealing 40+ bases. So much fun.
Eric Davis is one of my favorite all time guys. Dude had power, could steal bases and very few played centerfield like him. He was fun to watch.

The craziest stat about Bonds is that he led the league in walks his last 7 seasons and he still hit 49, 73, 46, 45, 26 and 28 bombs. So guys were pitching around him, but anything even close to the plate was blasted.

How the fuck did Eric Davis only make 2 all star games?

He was so good he even played for the best team in the history of baseball for 2 years.
He danced around quite a bit in the 90s.
Had one of the greatest comebacks of all time coming back from cancer.

With a strikeout of Kole Calhoun last night, Chris Sale became the fastest pitcher to reach 200 Ks in a season. He reached the total in only 141-1/3 innings.

The previous mark was held by Randy Johnson who did it in 143 innings in 1995.

Sale has an ERA of 2.48 on the season. His WHIP is 0.89
200 Ks to only 26 BBs.

Nice catch too! Do you know how many feet it went? Gotta be well over 500.
Apparently the Statcast couldn't track it so they only estimated it to be 440 feet. But no one has hit a ball out since that stadium opened so I'd wager that it was headed for waaaaay more than 440.

I guess it was too high to properly measure. The Mariners figure it went 440. C'mon now.
Those pretentious hipsters in the PacNW just didn't want to give credit to someone playing for the Evil Empire. I'm shocked they didn't say it was an illegally hit ball and that Judge should be banned due to his superior genetics as it's not fair for other athletes.

They were chanting steroids at him on Thursday.

Judge hit another bomb last night.
That's 32.

Mark McGuire holds the rookie record with 49 (1987)

Just going by games played, Judge is on pace to hit 54.

He won't get there, purely because he will go through a slump and people will then question him calling him all hype......not saying he is just that he will have to go through this or if he doesn't and they make the playoffs, he will go 0 for the entire series

Cubs have gone 8-1 since the All Star Break and are now tied with Milwaukee for 1st place in the NL Central. The Brewers have lost 7 of their last 10.

Todd Frazier, in his first home AB since the Yankees traded for him, came to the plate with the bases loaded and nobody out in the bottom of the 2nd.

He hit a 1 hop liner to Jose Peraza at short, who stepped on 2nd and flipped the ball to 1st for the conventional double play. But Didi Gregorious, who was the runner at 2nd when the play started, was confused because he wasn't sure if the liner was going to be caught or not. As a result, he was slow to 3rd and Joey Votto was able to get him trapped between 2nd and 3rd. After a brief pickle, Didi was tagged out. Triple play.

And an odd triple play as the runner from 3rd scored because he hit home before the final out (non force out) was recorded.

The title of the video is wrong. Frazier didn't get credit for the RBI.

Watching the Red Sux lose last night. I was sure to yell "LET'S GO YANKEES!" from the third base side.
