Not familiar with bollox
Bollox is slang for balls, but it is a multi tool, like I could say "That's bollox" meaning that's not true or its unfair, or just "bollox!" which would be like saying fuck! There is a few other uses as well.

I'd stomp a guy after ko'ing him. If you've driven me to the point where we're fighting in a car park, I'm not looking for a moral victory anymore.

Don't like it? Don't pick fights.
That's not smart. Because this way you might win a fight with some stupid guy but lose your freedom due to a stupid guy. You might want to re-evaluate your attitude towards street-fighting before you regret it.

I definitely understand your point but I'm all in at this point. Had well over 100 fights by the age of 21. Had barely any in the last 15 years.

I don't want to fight anyone. If you start on me, I'll make an example of you.

Wow. I'm surprised both because I thought you were a better person that, and also smarter than that.

Happened me recently, I walked into a pub some big sloppy fat cunt walked over straight away and put his hands all over me with a nice soft grip of the throat to finish. I fucked him up outside after and I'm still satisfied about it, even though his mate cut my eye with a sly one in the fray.

Sorry to disappoint you.

You had many fights? I've been hit with a hammer, hit with a crowbar, attacked with a baseball bat, attacked with a length of rebar, had a few knives pulled on me and been jumped numerous times. I don't take street violence lightly.

No, I haven't had many fights, and I haven't had anything like that happen to me.

I had a teacher once, who was a former UFC competitor. I'm going to leave his name out of this, but I consider him to be one of the finest people I have ever met. With that said, an old story about him was that he caught two guys breaking into his car once. He knocked both of them out, and then after they were unconscious (and the threat over), he broke their fingers. Over time, I've mulled that story over a lot, and I think he was wrong for doing that.

I guess I can't really relate to somebody trying to take my life, but I don't like the idea of revenge after the fact.

Further, I guess a reason why I don't like the idea of pounding somebody out after the threat is over, and perhaps killing them, is that it doesn't leave room for redemption for that person.

At a certain point in my life, I was going down a pretty bad path. But I straightened up. An argument could have been made during a few incidents, that I deserved to be killed. Yet I was lucky enough to find my way through it without somebody inflicting some life altering damage on me, and at this point in my life, I think I am a pretty decent person.

In all honesty, I'm very demented and I actually like that he broke their fingers.....they needed that imo....

Ok. You're entitled to your opinion but I'm also entitled to mine.

Yours is that I'm dumb and wrong.

Mine is that you are naive. But I'm glad you haven't had a lot of violence.

If someone wants a fair fight with me, they can request one. If they attack me, I'll do my best to make sure they regret it.

Those brushes with Danger to that magnitude will instill the kill or be killed mentality...after my stabbing near death experience I told myself NOBODY will ever make me feel like that again or get within striking distance in a threatening manner...I don't think of the outcome I just go on instinct and have had to baptize a few fools.. and give a nasty concussion and broke jaw to a knife pulling pussy biker who thought he was dealing with some punk kid he picked a fight with.

Most cage fighters would do the same thing and only the ref stops them.

Sure, you get the odd (disrespectful piece of shit) fighter like Mark Hunt walking away after dropping an opponent, but usually the objective is to smash your opponent until stopped. Expecting MORE self control in a streetfight than a professional one is a bit much.
TBH I hate it just as much in the octagon too.

i think if you put cage fighters in the street, and they are in the same position, most wouldn't keep going lke this guy did. I could be wrong though.
They do it in the octagon cause fighters will regain composure if they give them any breathing room before the ref stops it.

Then you have cases like Henderson vs bisping. Bad blood and all that being a factor.

I'm curious as to why you felt the need to write 'I don't condone killing a guy' followed by the word 'but'?
I am glad to read I wasn't the only one. The "but that was crazy" makes me think he condones it only if it's crazy....

it's impressive that a guy of that build could have that kind of flexibility to kick like that on top of the fact that he was able to do it in what appears to be skinny jeans.

Only since no one has said this: I didn't watch it. Never watch clips of anything where I know a person has been grievously or terminally harmed.

a) I don't want to see it, someone being killed and
b) if we all want to see it, and nobody thinks that's strange, or troublesome, it's bad for every one.

Not trying to make a point, just putting another yet unstated one into the mix.

The one point I do feel like should be made is: if you don't act in a way that's in line with the way you think the world should be in the future, you basically have no ethical backbone, and your morality is fake.

Oh shit. That is way more controversial than I meant to be. Facts are facts, what's true is what's true.

Lazy in one context, lazy in all contexts.

Again, had anybody already said something similar, or even remotely parallel, I'd have kept it to myself.

You should assess each situation differently.

Not everyone deserves to be stomped.... and there's different levels to street violence and the intentions of the other person and shit like that and how the whole thing escalated in the first place, etc

What's the end point in this scenario? Is there a certain number of stomps ? Until he's dead? Until you wear out? Someone intervenes?

Agreed and that's what I do. But I have stomped big guys who were a very real danger.

Depends on the situation. The most serious was when a big guy got in an argument with my dad over a truck repair and brought his big friend along as back up. It got heated and the guy started threatening us with Bindy Johal (these guys were Indian in Surrey, BC), pulled out a 4 foot length of rebar (the one I mentioned earlier) and smashed my dad over the head. Blood everywhere, then he hits me. I block it with my forearm (still have a scar from 20 years ago and my arm swelled up pretty bad). I managed to get hold of him and my dad got himself together and we beat the shit out of him for about 10 minutes. His big mate ran and we knocked the guy out, woke him up, then knocked him out again. Kicked him in the face repeatedly and stomped on his sternum to give him an internal injury. If he was under 200lbs he would have probably died from that beating.

And I'd do it again. Mother fucker hit my dad with a length of bar, hit me with it and threatened us with a murderer. You guys are fucking crazy if you think I'm following NSAC rules in against a guy like that.

But that's the worst beating I've given. Normally it was just a couple of punches and the odd soccer kick (I weighed about 130lbs in those days).
