General these records came out around the same time, which is best?

Metallica changed how hard rock/heavy metal was perceived by the masses so it was kind of revolutionary in that regard.

But it's hard to beat Violent Display. It's still in my normal rotation.

Wherever I go I try and find a metal bar and if there is such a thing as a jukebox, for some reason my go to first choice is Walk.

It's a good song to help figure out the vibe of a place. If you see a lot of heads bouncing then you're in a good spot. If not, you're in a metal hipster bar and everyone is too cool for Pantera which means that they're all assholes anyway.

From the OP options I guess it would be Metallica even though I much prefer the older albums.

Other albums I prefer over the list given from same time period.

Still listen to all of this.

Love it.

Sort of related in a way. Have you seen this yet? To me, Foos are as Brit as they come (from another mother). When Corden started doing Carpool I said I was gagging for them to be in the car with him.

The best part of that was actually watching Dave and Taylor air drumming along to every song.

So awesome. There was a little bit where Taylor was trying to get James's attention to be down with the jamming in the front seats and wasn't acknowledged which tickled me. Bless him.

My
Top 5 of all time

That's all you need
My last night in Norfolk, Virginia I went to see them, what a way to finish 2 nearly perfect years. Ed drank what must have been an entire bottle of wine and was in such a bang tidy mood. I'd never seen them before so it was awesome after being such a fan for so many years, it was definitely emotional being I didn't want to leave the area and they were my final hurrah.

As for me...
They're all great albums really.
But...
Metallica.
Slayer.
Plantera.
