It fucking hurts. Mum called to tell me she passed away on Friday night. Kidney failure. I'm in bits.

Hug your dogs guys.

Worst thing is I haven't seen her for 4 months. Was planning on visiting parents in Spain over xmas where she lives. Completely out of the blue. Fine a week earlier. 3 days and she's gone.

We just put my little guy down this afternoon too. He had a stroke and we are a mess.
I'm so sorry to hear this. I can't imagine what you are going through but if you need anything know that we got you.

So sorry

Damn beautiful dog, my friend. I'm sure she made your life better and you did hers. Can't ask for more than that.

Not trying to jack your thread man, but its a relevant post.

These were my girls. Since they passed, I've had a couple foster dogs. A stupid (in a cute way) smelly little puggle, and a lab who I dropped 1600 on for acl surgery since my scumbag neighbor was ready to have her put to sleep. Shouldn't have had dogs, much less children imo.

Anyways, this is a serious issue between me and my girl (not dog) right now. She wants another rescue dog. I don't. I simply don't want anyone else to have their proverbial finger prints on my dog. She's all like 'well I don't want to clean up shit', and my response is than basically dont get a dog, because it happens. Especially since I favor larger breeds, I'll take care of the training. It's a serious point of contention in our relationship right now. Not to mention she wants a smaller dog, and I want a blue pit.

Sorry for the rant, and again my condolences. Nothing sucks more than losing a pet.
