A suspected sex offender hid items including McDonald’s cherry pies under women’s car tires for sexual kicks, police say. Kurt M. Fulton, 43, placed the desserts and other items – including VHS casettes and laptops – beneath female driver’s cars so that they could not see them, it is claimed. Then, when they reversed over the objects and got out of their cars, he would use a set of binoculars to watch them bend over to check what had happened, Mlive reported.
Fulton, who has past convictions for stalking women in parking lots, was named as a suspect in the bizarre crime by Saginaw County Sheriff Bill Federspiel on Thursday. The Michigan sheriff said: ‘It’s disturbing because of the nature of this. ‘It’s very creepy, unacceptable behavior. That’s the best way to describe it. It’s just creepy.’ Sheriff Federspiel added: ‘Basically, what we have are victims who called us to report that they felt they were being stalked, creeped out ‘This individual was placing items underneath the tires of women’s vehicles, stalking them in parking lots, watching them, picking out victims
‘He’d wait for them to go into a store, then place an item under their tire, then go back to his car where he had a good vantage point.’ Deputies began probing Fulton after receiving a call on Saturday from a woman who had driven over a laptop while leaving a Target store in Kochville Township. Fulton did not approach her afterwards, the sheriff said, but his past history of similar behavior quickly flagged him up as a suspect. He said: ‘It reminded us when we heard of it of Mr. Fulton because we’ve been down this road before.
‘It wasn’t much of a reach for us to dig up this info and find out where he was. Our investigation led us straight to Kurt Fulton.’ Fulton appeared in Saginaw County District Court Thursday charged with aggravated stalking. He faces seven-and-a-half years in jail if convicted.
