Huh, wouldn't have thought them endangered anywhere. Even have them in suburban Jersey. Remember riding my bike along a canal towpath and coming across a flock of them. They started hauling ass and I sped up to see if I could keep pace. Almost caught up to them before they all flew up into a nearby tree. Didn't expect that.

They're endangered for a reason. They will gobble your feed clean. Thanksgiving isn't a holiday promoting slaughtering the natives its a holiday promoting slaughtering big fat hungry chickens that fuck like bunnies.

They move on and take over, if you let em.
Trick is to hunt em just enough to keep em humble but not enough to wipe em out.

Theiy are delicious bastards. On some norcal mtb trails they were the #1 hazard, lol.

I like having em around but I get culling em when they get too pushy.

You gotta plink em right in the noggin for damn good eatin' and that's a golf ball target. I tell you what, turkey fever is a thing.

They increased the numbers here big time too. The last ten years or so have put us in the "good ol days" of turkey hunting. Everyone should be buying tags because it won't always be like this.

We have them all over here in my area.

They run away if you walk close to them but for some reason they will stand in front of your car and not move when you are driving.
