The pans to the crowd were MONEY! Probably the cleanest song 2 Live Crew ever wrote. Would have been so awesome if they went with another song instead.

Donahue was way ahead of his time, dude was an institution back when there were 3 channels. He absolutely dominated his daytime slot. He was the good, curious, kind of liberal.

Then he introduced the world to ophra and it all went to shit lol.

YouTube put me onto Morton Downey Jr. recently and I watched every episode available. There's a good biographic documentary on him too. I'm miss talks shows of the 80s/90s.

Had to go to some training with my boss one time and we took his ride.
He was mid 40s, built like George Costanza, just a super dad kind of guy. Never even heard him cuss.

As soon as he starts the engine "I like big butts" came blaring out of the speakers and he's singing along.

Talk about a 'never judge a book' type moment. It was so not what I expected!
