As a Celtics fan (I don't really watch basketball anymore since the refs control the outcome more than the players do) I'm interested in what they do with the #1 pick. I also hope the Lakers, who, as a Celtics fan I have no choice but to hate, pass on Lonzo Ball and he ends up on a shitty Philadelphia team.

I want Boston to draft Ball just because the Lakers want him. A nice little "FUCK YOU" to their old rivals.

Then trade his ass to the Wizards.

Pretty straight forward so far.

1) Fultz
2) Ball
3) Tatum
4) Jackson

Kadeem? Jabari? Christ, the Celtics 2nd round should be nicknamed The Celtic's Second Round Splinter Cell...

Apparently Jackson no-showed a workout with the Celtics after they flew across the country.

I'm most curious who will be better down the road between Tatum and Jackson.
I think Tatum will be. Not sure Jackson has the work ethic, and discipline. He got into some shit at Kansas, which was swept under the rug for the most part. Seems extremely immature, which isn't surprising for any of these guys, being that they're 18-19 years old. Maybe he'll mature quickly and work his ass off, who knows. He's certainly talented and has a higher ceiling that Tatum IMO.

agents have been telling players to do this, their fear is they won't get much playing time on a contender & that'll hurt them on their 2nd contract. there's a whole lot of smart nba people that think that's insane, too

I think team culture effects this a lot as well.
