The official season starts this afternoon.

UC vs XU

The Crosstown Shootout
Only 3 miles separate the schools. All the kids know each other, and bragging rights for a year is huge. The game can get very heated. Cincy is favored by 6-1/2 and the game is on ESPN2 if you are so inclined.

It's being played at UC's "new and improved" arena on campus, and it should have a very loud March Madness feel to it.

Should be fun.

At 2:00 PM, March Madness will be in full force for this game.

Then it goes away for a few months.

This was the game that ended in a huge brawl 6 or 7 years ago. They actually cancelled the game with 10 seconds left.

Kenny Frease stepped to Yancy Gates (born and raised in Cincinnati) and he quickly learned that Rich Franklin and Aaron Pryor aren't the only dudes who can throw hands in this city.

Lol we nail a 1/2 courter to lose by 1. Fun game to watch. I like this UofL team a lot and think they're going to be really good by March.

I watched the last 5 minutes. Cards have got themselves some good players. Looked pretty good. They hustle and compete.

Big win by UofL @ UNC today, after they shit the bed @ Pitt Wednesday. Owned the game from the tip & won by 20. Huge for their resume.
